CARTHAGE — The Carthage Revolution semipro football team will kick off their season Saturday with a home game versus Glove Cities.

Recently, two more sponsors (Carthage Savings and Carthage Area Hospital) came on board to support the team which officially adopted Carthage as its hometown last year after holding home games here for five years. At that time, the team changed its name from the Watertown Revolution to the Carthage Revolution. READ MORE



The Carthage Revolution Football Team has been selected by the Carthage Area Chamber of Commerce for a Community Impact Award to be presented at this year's annual Business Awards Dinner!


This award is the result of many hours of Community work by the Carthage Revolution Football Team Members and it's Staff.


The dinner will be held October 26, 2016 at the Sahara Restaurant starting at 6:00pm. We would love to have you come out and support the team. You can make reservations by calling the Carthage Chamber at 493-3590. Hope to see you there!

CARTHAGE — Pat Gibbons took a few moments late Saturday night to look around Carthage High School field and revel in the moment.

Gibbons led the Carthage Revolution with more than a dozen tackles and two sacks in the semipro football team’s season-opening loss to the Glove Cities Colonials, 18-13, in a Northeastern Football Alliance East Division matchup.

Carthage Revolution

1: Each game card contains 17 different 3-team combinations, each randomly generated and randomly assigned to the 17 weeks of the pro football season, scheduled to begin 9-7-17.

 2: Prizes are awarded each week to the 8 game cards whose teams score the most combined points relative to all other cards for that week. The 3 cards that score the least total points will also receive prizes . Grand Prizes are awarded to the one card with the most, and one card with the least combined points scored over the 17 weeks. 


3: If 2 or more cards are tied with the same score, total net yards are used as the primary tiebreaker.

4: Teams that do not play (have a bye) in a given week are assigned that teams score from the previous week
